Attendant buttonA button on a slot machine that you press if you're having trouble with the machine. Return to the slot machine terms main page. The "attendant button" is usually located near the cash out button. Some slot machines don't have enough money to cash out a big win from the hopper, so the attendant button will signal an attendant to come over and help you cash out too. Some of the newer slot machines in casinos work on a ticket-in and ticket-out system, so the attendant button might only be used in the case of a malfunctioning machine. I'm not entirely sure about this, but I don't think all slot machines have attendant buttons. It could just be that some of these attendant buttons are placed subtly and not used very often though. |
