Attendant lightA light on top of a slot machine that alerts the casino staff that you're having trouble with the machine. Return to the slot machine terms main page. When a player presses the attendant button, the "attendant light" goes on, and a slot machine attendant will soon come over to help the player with her problem. Sometimes the attendant light will go on automatically if a player wins a jackpot that's too large to pay out through the hopper. Video poker machines also have attendant lights. Most casinos are so full of sounds and flashing lights that players might not even know that slot machines and video poker machines actually have attendant lights on them, but almost all of them do have them now. |
