Feng shui is a Chinese concept involving which involves maintaining positive Qi in one's body through various techniques. Qi is usually translated as "energy flow", but it has different interpretations. Feng Shui means "wind or water".

When Chinese slots players have bad luck at a casino, they will blame the casino for poor slots game placement and bringing them bad luck. They claim the slot machines are not placed according to Feng Shui. This may or may not be a facetious claim, since Feng Shui generally traditionally focuses on maintaining energy flow and positive energy in the human body.

Also, there is a Feng Shui slot machine found in some casinos. These slots games have a bonus reel with the feng shui symbols on them. In Feng Shui, there are eight Bagua, or symbols. These eight symbols are represented on a Feng Shui reel.
