The theme may center around Egyptian Gold or Pirates Treasure or anything to catch a player’s attention. The machine’s images on the screen and reels will all follow this cohesive theme and most times the bonus games will be designed around the theme as well.

Slot machines these days can have a theme from a popular television show or movie or even a comicbook character. The themes featuring images from other licensed media are usually hugely popular because players are already familiar with them.
